MEN'S SUGARING

Numerous men have switched to Sugaring, and it isn't without a good reason.

Yes! Men Sugar too!

Sugaring has proven to be safe and effective for removing hair, on all skin types.

Due to the specific Sugaring method and organic Sugaring paste, all hair, no matter how thin and short can be removed.

Sugaring paste only adheres to the dead skin cells, not damaging facial skin and causing breakouts.

Eyebrow and cheekbone Sugaring help shape and bring out natural facial features, while keeping the skin healthy, smooth and pure.

How do I prepare for Sugaring?

Preparing for Sugaring is an easy and straightforward process.

Before you come to the appointment, your hair needs to be at least 1/6" (like a grain of rice). Make sure that your skin is clean and doesn't have any unusual changes or breakouts.

Don't put any lotions, oils, or creams on the area that will be sugared. Come to the appointment in light and comfortable clothes that won't irritate your skin.

After the appointment, avoid the Sun, getting into the water, exercising, and putting anything onto the skin for the next 24 hours.

If this is your first Sugaring, you may experience skin breakout or rashes due to your immune system response. This is normal, in around three days.

What Men Ask Us About Sugaring

What is Sugaring exactly?

Sugaring is a natural and organic hair removal method, suitable for all skin types.

The hair is removed using Sugaring Paste, which is made of only three ingredients, Sugar, Lemon, and Water. The paste is applied cold to the skin, against the direction of hair growth, and pulled away in the direction of hair growth.

This specific way of pulling the hair allows us to remove even the smallest and thinnest hair from all areas of the body, without causing ingrowns, irritations or skin trauma.

This is my first time Sugaring, what should I know?

Let your hair grow around the size of a rice grain (1/6″). Lightly exfoliate your skin the day before sugaring, you can do this with a gentle body scrub.

Make sure that the area of the body that will be Sugared isn’t sunburnt, irritated, or covered in allergies. If it is, you will want to wait until it passes, or consult a doctor.

Once you come to the appointment, all you need to do is relax and we will walk you through the process and handle everything.

After the appointment, you should avoid sun exposure, dipping into the water, and exercising for the next 24 hours.

What is the difference between Sugaring and Shaving?

Shaving means that you need to run a blade over your skin every few days. This irritates the skin, can leave cuts, promotes ingrowns and skin breakout.

It is also time-consuming and very short-term.

On the contrary, Sugaring lasts at least 10 times longer, doesn’t create ingrown hair, and allows your skin to regenerate.

How often do I need to Sugar?

This depends on your genes, how often you Sugar, and the previous hair removal methods you practiced.

If you come from shaving, then you might have to come for another appointment in around 2 weeks. Once you start Sugaring regularly, then depending on the body area it will be between 4 to 6 weeks.

I have tattoos over the spots I wish to Sugar, what do I do?

Don’t worry.

Sugaring won’t affect the appearance of your tattoos. Moreover, it will lightly exfoliate your skin and remove all the dead skin cells from the surface, making your tattoo look even fresher than before!

What is the difference between Sugaring and Waxing?

Sugaring is performed with an organic sugaring paste, made of natural ingredients, Sugar, Lemon, and Water.

During the Sugaring method, the hair is pulled in the direction of hair growth, making the whole experience less painful and more effective, while preventing the ingrown.

On the other hand, wax is made of various toxic chemicals and resins.

During waxing, the hair is pulled in the opposite directing of hair growth, increasing the chances of ingrowns and damaging alive skin cells.

When should I avoid Sugaring?

If you have any skin condition you should consult with your doctor first. If you are taking any retinol products you should also avoid Sugaring.

Acutane products dry out the skin and you should wait at least 6 months after you had stopped using them before scheduling your first appointment.
