BRAZILIAN SUGARING

Ideal for silky smooth intimate zone, for up to six weeks!

Why we love Brazilian Sugaring

The skin on your intimate area is sensitive and thin, hence it can easily end up irritated, tender, or even burnt after traditional waxing or shaving.

With Brazilian Sugaring, there is no fear of that happening.

Sugaring paste is completely organic without toxic chemicals and is applied warm or at room temperature to the skin.

The paste is applied against the hair growth, so it could be effectively pulled out in the direction of growth. This way we avoid hair breakage and skin damage.

How do I prepare for my first Brazilian Sugaring?

Ensure that your skin is hydrated. Dry skin holds onto the hair as it holds the moisture in and protects it from more rapid dehydration.

A few days before your Brazilian Sugaring appointment, lightly exfoliate the skin.

The day before the appointment, refrain from exfoliating since Sugaring Paste acts as an exfoliator.

On the day of the appointment, avoid caffeine and alcohol intake as they further dehydrate your body. Do not apply anything to the sugared area that day either.

The most important thing is to be relaxed and have trust in your sugarer. We will explain everything and let you take your time.

Answers to your most asked questions about Brazilian Sugaring

How long does the hair need to be before the Brazilian Sugaring?

In order for Brazilian Sugaring to be performed effectively, we advise you to wait until your hair is around 1/6 inches long, or 10 days after shaving.

If your hair is too short, we will have to reschedule your appointment.

On the other hand, if it is too long, we would advise trimming it before Sugaring, because the longer the hair is, the more painful the process will be. We can provide trimming too.

How much does Brazilian Sugaring hurt and how can I reduce the pain?

The amount of pain you will experience depends on several factors:

  • If you have been shaving repeatedly before Sugaring, your hair will be stronger and hared to pull out, resulting in more pain.
  • On contrary, the more you sugar, the thiner the hair roots become and it hurts less.
  • Your own pain levels might be higher than those of your friend, hence the amount of pain you feel will differ.

Our advice is to be patient, because, the more you Sugar, the less it will hurt over time.

Can I get Brazilian Sugaring even if I am pregnant?

Yes, you can!

The only important thing is that your pregnancy is stable and past the first trimester.

Sugaring paste is all-natural, and safe both for mom and the baby. You might be more sensitive and feel stronger pain than usual, though it’s normal and nothing to worry about.

We always advise you to check with your gynecologist and let us know your state when booking an appointment so we can better prepare for you.

After giving birth, how long should I wait before getting Brazilian Sugaring?

This depends on the method of childbirth and your doctor’s recommendation.

Our advice is to wait for at least 6 weeks, but if you have your doctor’s written approval you are good to roll and have your sweet Sugaring!

Is there someone who should avoid Brazilian Sugaring?

Brazilian Sugaring is safe and suitable for all skin types.

The only time when you should avoid getting it is if your OB-GYN (obstetrics and gynaecology) doctor advises it.

This may be due to vaginal sensitiveness or in order to prevent/cure certain infections.  We always advise you to listen to your OB-GYN.

Another occasion on which you should consult with your doctor first is if you are taking any medication that increases your skin’s sensitivity, or if you have some specific skin conditions.

If you are taking Accutane, then you should refrain from Sugaring at least for 5 months since you’ve stopped using it.

This is because Accutane dries out your skin, creating a risk for huge skin trauma and irritation if you do Sugaring or any other more invasive method of hair removal.

How long after Brazilian Sugaring do I need to wait before having a sexual intercourse?

Your skin will be sensitive for the next 24 hours since sugaring.

This is because your hair follicles remain open for the 24 hours after we remove the hair. Therefore, you should avoid sexual intercourse during the next 24 hours since your Brazilian Sugaring appointment.

Sweating and skin rubbing can only further irritate the sensitive skin.

It's the day of Brazilian Sugaring but my period has come, what should I do?

Don’t worry, you can still be Sugared if you are comfortable with it and the adequate hygiene is applied.

Keep in mind that Brazilian Sugaring might hurt more if you are on your period.

If you wish to wait until your period goes away, make sure to give us a call and we will reschedule your appointment.

How long does Brazilian Sugaring last?

This depends wether you are consistent with your Sugaring or not.

If you have been Sugared for the first time and come from shaving, then most probably your hair won’t grow evenly. This is because shaving creates different growth cycles for your hair.

With that being said, your hair might start growing back in patches after just two weeks from Sugaring.

However, after your second Brazilian Sugaring the growth will become more even and on average you will need to come back every 4 to 6 weeks for another appointment.

What is the ideal skin care after Brazilian Sugaring?

Right after your Brazilian Sugaring appointment, make sure to avoid exercise, sex, or wearing tight pants or shorts and materials that can irritate the skin.

During the next 24 hours avoid getting into the water, whether it’s swimming pools, baths or oceans. In this time frame avoid putting any type of creams.

After the 24 hours of your appointment, you should gently and lightly exfoliate your skin daily. This prevents ingrown hairs to form and removes dead skin cells.

You also want to hydrate your skin, so make sure to apply the right cream for your skin type.

How exactly is Brazilian Sugaring different from Waxing?

The first difference is in the Sugaring paste vs. Wax. Sugaring Paste is paraben and toxins free, made from organic ingredients, Lemon, Water and Sugar.

Wax is made from toxic resins and chemicals.

Sugaring method is different from traditional Waxing too.

While Wax is applied in the direction of hair growth and pulled opposite of it, Sugaring pulls the hair in the direction of its growth.

This. is why Sugaring is less painful, causes far less to none skin damage and carries fewer risk of ingrown hairs.
